Dawn Howie is a photographer based out of Toronto. Her practice explores macro photography, emphasizing the patterns and shapes found in food. Her love for photography developed from the cameras ability to capture details. Her images are clean and crisp, drawing attention to details that are normally overlooked. Dawn enjoys propping, styling and shooting, to create a desired atmosphere, while highlighting the beauty of food.

In high school I was introduced to the darkroom, I love the details that a camera is able to capture.
